The event, which offered a ‘Spree’ perspective on the upcoming season, simultaneously served to showcase the online retailer’s new additions to Spree Boutique and the launch of a brand new department aimed specifically at men, The Collective by Spree.
“The essence of this winter’s fashion lies in enveloping yourself in cozy layers, blanket capes and large, snug coats. The shapes are forwardthinking but the mood is nostalgic,” says Spree fashion director Chris Viljoen. This was evidenced by the knitted ponchos, duster coats and boxy shapes and sharp lines of the womenswear as well as the rebooted peacoats and quilted jackets with military details and traditional textures of the menswear.

MENSWEAR
